The alley behind the library will be closing this weekend.
The City of Wamego is getting ready for the Wamego Public Library construction project to start. We appreciate the Wamego Post Office moving the drive-up mailbox to the other end of the alley. The community still enters the alley from 4th Street. The mailbox is on the west side of the alley before the City parking lot by 4th and Elm and the Wamego Police Department. As the project starts the alley will close after the parking lot for traffic.
