As 2024 Comes to a Close… 

It’s hard to believe we’re just a little over a week away from 2025! As we prepare to welcome the new year, we wanted to take a moment to look back on everything we’ve accomplished as a city over the past five years. 

Check out the graphic below for a snapshot of projects started from 2020-2023 and a deeper dive into 2024, which highlights completed, started, planned, and ongoing efforts. You might notice a few repeated projects—some initiatives span multiple years because good things take time!

We couldn’t be prouder of the progress made, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Beyond these big projects, so much of the City of Wamego’s success comes from the hard work and dedication of our incredible staff across all departments. Every single day, they are working on projects—big and small—that help keep Wamego running smoothly, improving, and thriving.
