Street Project Update – Spruce & Chestnut!
Exciting updates in Wamego as our street improvements continue!
Monday, December 9th: Spruce Street (6th to 8th) and 5th & 7th Streets (Chestnut to Spruce) will close to traffic.
Chestnut Street Parking: Starting next week, evening and weekend parking will be allowed on Chestnut, marked with construction barrels. There will still be no parking permitted Monday-Friday 7AM-5PM, to ensure the safety of our crews.
Alley Access: After this closure, access to the alley between Chestnut and Spruce will be available from 4th, 6th, and 8th Streets.
